COVID-19, Sick &
Travelling Clients (NEW)
- You must reschedule if you display any of the following symptoms (but not limited to): fever, coughing, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, headache, sneezing, diarrhea
- You must also reschedule if you have been in contact with anyone who is sick or has travelled within the last 14 days.
- If you have travelled within or outside of Canada in the last 14 days, please self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days before making an appointment.
- We have implemented COVID-19 Safety Protocols which all clients are made aware of and must adhere to before and during their appointments.
Deposits & Rescheduling
Deposits are credited towards the appointment total. All deposits are non-refundable to prevent clients who are not serious about booking from holding dates. Please double-check your availability before making any bookings.
If you are planning to get pregnant in the near future and it is one of the service’s contraindications, it is best to NOT book an appointment as the deposit is non-refundable.
It is very difficult to fill in appointments that are rescheduled last minute. As a result, rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the deposit and less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the booked service.
- Deposit can be transferred once to new appointment with a minimum of 5 days notice. A second reschedule will require another deposit.
- Complimentary brow touch-ups rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will result in losing the complimentary session. A $113 deposit will be required when rebooked.
Rescheduling of all OTHER services:

No-Shows / Missed Appointments
No-shows and missed appointments impact three parties in the following ways: you are missing your scheduled service; we lose hours of paid work; and other clients who could have received the service instead.
Late Arrivals
A grace period is offered for 15 minutes only. If you arrive later than that, there will be a late fee of $25 charged OR the appointment may be cancelled resulting in the forfeiture of your deposit. Kindly notify the studio if you expect be late.
Last Minute Appointment Changes
Should a client wish to switch appointment of lesser value than the original appointment booked at the time of the service, a change fee of $25 will be charged.
Previously Tattooed / Microbladed Brows
Unfortunately, not all eyebrows can be corrected due to the existing brows presenting asymmetry, significant pigment saturation in the skin, and the style of brows clients seek. For these reasons, we cannot always work over other artists’ work. If you arrive for your appointment without having your previous eyebrow work pre-approved, this will result in forfeiture of your deposit. For assessment, please submit a few clear photos of your current brows to info@alineabeauty.ca Please let us know how many brow sessions you’ve had, the type of service you’ve had and any other relevant information we need to know to properly assess your brows.
Brow Touch Ups
Our brow touch-ups are for existing clients only. Touch-up brow appointments are calculated since your last paid appointment and includes only one session.
If you are a new client with pre-existing work on your brows performed elsewhere, please submit a few clear photos of your eyebrows for pre-approval before booking to info@alineabeauty.ca. All previous work will be charged at full prices and are subject to a correctional fee of $50 or $100 depending on the correction work needed. Pricing is subject to change at any time without notice.
Eyelash Refills
Eyelash refills should be booked every 2-3 weeks. With certain clients, 4 weeks fills may be booked instead. In order to qualify for fill pricing, 40% of your extensions must still be intact from the last application. If this requirement is not met, additional or full set charges will apply.

It is the clients’ responsibility to follow all Pre- and Post-Care Instructions for successful treatment and optimal healed results.

Environment & Client
Conduct
Our beauty studio is a place of relaxation for all clients and focus for artists. We kindly ask clients to refrain from using their mobile phone and to keep on silent during your time with us. The use of profanity, aggressive and rude behaviour will not be tolerated.
Additional Guests
Appointment Reminders
To help clients keep track of their appointments, our online booking system will send out reminders email and text reminders. It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure they have inputted the correct emails and mobile numbers for these reminders during the booking process.

Payments
Methods of payment accepted for the remaining balance on your appointment day are debit, and credit card. Debit payments are highly preferred as a small business.
Parking
There is paid parking around the studio but please note the parking restrictions below. We recommend to download the app on your phone called “Pay by Phone” in advance and note the pay station number after you pay for parking. Please check your Booking Confirmation email for the duration of your booked service(s) to ensure you avoid any by-law parking tickets.
For appointments less than 2 hours:
Paid street parking surrounding the studio for a maximum of 2 hours only. Rates are $3.50/hr Monday to Friday. Free parking is available after 5:30pm and weekends.
For appointments longer than 2 hours:
Please park at the City of Ottawa Preston parking lot on 301 Preston Street. It will be a 5 minute walk to our studio. Rates are $9 all day or $2/hr Monday to Friday. Free parking is available after 5:30pm and $2 all day on weekends.
